JULIETA ÁLVAREZ CERAMICS

Julieta Alvarez is a ceramic brand specialized in jewelry, decorative objects and art-crafts. All of the pieces are designed and produced in Spain.

The whole process is done in our atelier, based in Madrid, where not only we design, but as well we develop the prototypes and take care of all the production. All the pieces, both of jewelry and deco, are shaped and lacquered one by one, manually, by us.

As most of them are finished in golden luster, they need to be given a third firing. After that, each craft passes through a strict quality control to verify that the method was correctly done, and those ones that do not reach the standards are rejected.

The collections you can see are the result of a long and delicate process done with care and affection.
With ceramics and crafts as protagonists, Julieta’s creations go from jewelry to decoration and sculpture. Experimentation is the epicenter of her creation process, and she finds inspiration in arts, nature and the world imperfections.
Her creations have reached more than 20 countries, including the shops of such museums as the Pompidou in Paris, the Museum of Contemporary Art in Luxembourg and the Reina Sofia in Madrid. They were also present on the catwalks accompanying the collections of Angel Schlesser or Ion Fiz, among others.

Currently she is the designer of the new jewelry collections of the porcelain house, Lladro.
